Hello there everyone! I stumbled onto some works-in-progress from that tomboy with the messy room image I drew, and because they made a pretty interesting sequence, I organized them into a gif to show how the final image was made! There was a lot of backtracking and erasing involved to find a pose I liked, and though some steps get left out, I hope the process is fun to watch. Enjoy!
Inspired by a thread about emo culture and the 2000's, I wanted to make a cute character that was easily imaginable as part of that. I plan on populating that game with a lot of these designs that get thrown around, so hopefully you'll get to know them all better!! Do you have any fun memories of the emo life?
I'm sure I could have done some more interesting things with the thing's form, but for now there is this! It's an unorthodox romance, which I always feel need more example works, so I hope it was a fun read!

I felt it might be fun to whip up a concept for a game, so I made a comic of sorts about what I'd try! The idea would be a life simulator in which the main character does a lot of bad things and tries to avoid getting caught or hurt, in a top-down tile-based world using limited colors for a soothing feeling. All of the action would be from that perspective (for example, running from other characters) and it would not be very skill-based, just entertainment and side-quests. And of course, I condone none of the acts depicted! That's all for now, I hope you enjoy the idea!
